The process begins with artists, record promoters and record companies submitting music entries throughout the past year; this includes live concerts, gigs, music venues and music publications. The Bright Star Awards Team, then screen for eligibility and category placement. A process of weekly music chart placements, Social Media engagement, radio listener feedback including the creativity and technical processes of a recording or live concerts and gigs including entertainment value is determined. The Bright Star Awards Team voting members then participate in (1) the nominating process that determines the typically five finalists in each category; and (2) the final voting process which determines The Bright Star Awards winners.
